Just a quick note to thank you for delivery of the Mydel CG-3000 autotuner it is up and running with my home brew vertical and it outperforms my SGC SG-230 smartuner in all departments which is amazing as I was happy with the SG-230 until I tried this tuner. I went this morning to my local Parcel Post stores to check if a parcel addressed to me had arrived from the UK & to my surprise it had arrived on last nights British Airways flight. I know It was sent on Monday afternoon & it is now Wednesday, & here it is.

Hi all,

I live 2.5 miles from a major radio retail outlet on the South Coast and I have used this outlet ever since the early days of CB. Me and my mate got a tad miffed by this outlets attitude to their customers so we made the 1 hour trip to Martin Lynch and Sons. Oh my God what a welcome, what polite and knowledgable staff, no pressure to buy, a cup of Coffee and a chinwag and they had exactly what I wanted in stock plus I saved a massive £180 compared to my local dealer, ML&S even fitted SSB filter in new FT817ND free of charge in fact nothing seemed too much for Martin and his staff. I reckon the 1 hour trip will be a regular one. Well done to Martin and staff.

Well done!!! Once again. I have just received the Diamond RHM- 5 Multi band portable antenna & the Icom optional (OPC-1229) spare cable for my recently bought IC-703 this very morning (21-6-06). It was ordered last Friday morning (16-6-06), so It has just taken just under five days for my order to arrive in Gibraltar, then cleared by Customs.

I must "PRAISE" your services once again, the same goes for the Royal Mail services too.

Hi Martin,

Hope all is well. I had the pleasure of visiting your showroom on Manday last, and may I say how impressed I was with the 'new' shop, it is a long way from your first place on Northfields Rd! Also, please pass on my thanks to Chris for the time he spent with me helping me sort out a new radio. I have to say the 857 would not have been anywhere near my first choice, but after seeing it and Chris demonstrating various aspects of it I was quite a simple choice for me in the end. Now I've had a play, I am even more pleased with it.

Once again Martin, thanks for another super radio. I expect it will carry me through for another few years (the TM732 Chris sold me in about 1992 is still in daily use!), and thanks to Chris and the team for not pushing me to buy anything I did not want.

I was especially pleased with the front terminal screw on covers being able to screw right off enabling me to use proper "ring tongue" connectors instead of the not so reliable spade ones.
